From all that's been happening everywhere concerning Nigerians, is surely a big shame and all are really telling on we Nigerians abroad and i'm really bothered personally because i've been paying for long time now, all the misdeeds of our people in Italy where i reside for 20 yrs now and while i'm almost at the reach of my citizenship, i hope these recent news don't delay my papers. Consequently, all Nigerians will surely be under rigid control but that should not be a motive for all countries abroad to generalise on us, anyway all depends on TIME, as all negative news will come to fade away.

Of a truth u Guys really don't know the harm this better-forgotten Nigerian has done to that better-called 3Nigeria.but for those of us abroad we know how its been and gonna be.I'm sure the U S herself is confused on this development but this act is not normal something lead to it. my humble advice is you guys should be expecting anything for everything is possible from now and as for those whoa are hoping on the next fiscal year's lottery result ohh kiss it Good bye.by the way what are the leaders doing about this case of a boy from 36united states of Nigeria who underscored the third degree crime for which we are known for and settled for the 1st degree attempted suicide.I pondered about this when i read it was kinda hard to believe this cos i know the poor people who applied for American visa and they where denied of it but this guy is well to do that was why he got it and he went ahead to show the world that he is well to do for he can do all thing through..........,who knows possibly his been challenged to be somebody if life.ohhh come of it this guy must have been hearing some bullshits like when i was your age i was this and that and when he was fade up he had to prove that he could be somebody well know at that.if u are in that Nigeria u will never know how bad people take us to be till u step out.our God forsaken passport used to be rated as 3rdclass but I'm sure is gonna join her sisters we all know very well in the 4th or even the 5th class.I'm one of those who are very much Ashamed about what is going on when i see the level of evil going on there of late i wonder if God has forgotten us but i know he hasn't as this might be a chance for those cousins of the Great lucky dube (F...D..F) we have from south east and south south.to do something may be now u can get a full support who knows.I really don't wanna say anything till this guys face is on the front page as is been long awaited, i heard the legs got burnt not the face.OH GOD LET THIS BE ONE OF THOSE DREAMS U SAID I WAS GONNA HAVE COS I DON'T SEE THIS HAPPENING I MEAN WHAT HAPPENED IN 1965.SOMEBODY TELL ME THAT I'M STILL SLEEPING

The action of an individual should not condemn a nation. There are scammers, fraudsters and terrorist everywhere even of UK & US citizen. It is Nigerians like we that LABELLED us in the face of incidents. Using the word "sneaked out of Nigeria" by Dora Akunyili's calibre did our image no good. The crinical probation of the second Nigerian may be his reason for hiding in the toilet.  Can't blame the poor guy for being abusive, when he had already been found guilty b4 prosecution.

MPAC Condemns Any and All Act of Terrorism
The Muslim Public Affairs Centre, MPAC, today strongly condemns any and all act of terrorism as a complete violation of the teachings of Islam. All attacks that threaten peace, or that are aimed at civilian targets, even in a state of war, are terrorism.  It is therefore sad to learn of a 23 year-old Nigerian passenger aboard a Delta Airlines flight to Detroit, United States, allegedly trying to set a bomb off on the US passenger aircraft on Christmas Day. The US’ Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) said that preliminary analysis had shown that the suspect had strapped pentaerythritol, which he tried to ignite, to his body and that passengers said that his trousers and the aircraft wall caught fire.
MPAC has consistently condemned all acts of terrorism, whether carried out by individuals, groups or states. We repudiate anyone or any group that plans or carries out a terrorist act and we welcome early actions by law enforcement authorities against credible threats to the safety of the travelling public.
The Nigerian Muslim community has always been dedicated to the protection of our national security locally and the global security and peace. It is therefore important that law-abiding Nigerian Muslims should not be targeted or singled out because of their faith or national origin.
There can be no question of defending, approving or justifying terrorism attempts or attacks, yet it is important, based on past counterterrorism cases that did not lead to terror convictions, that we withhold judgment until all the facts of this case come to light. We also ask public officials, the media and commentators to avoid using stereotypical, speculative, dramatic and ill-defined terminologies when referring to this and similar cases.
Lastly as Muslims, it is our responsibility- young and old, parents, sons and daughters, teachers and students, leaders and activists, to rally together to positively and constructively intervene with our youth to make sure they have a good understanding of Islam so that no extremists will play upon them. As an experienced and independent voice within the Nigerian Muslim community, MPAC reaffirms Islam's teachings of peace, justice and tolerance for all. We reaffirm that Islam fiercely rejects any act of terrorism and does not tolerate the use of terrorism for any purpose, regardless of the identity of the aggressors or the nature of their motives.
