Despite the mistake because his lodging you in a hotel when you first visited would have opened your eyes to know that this guy is a deceit.  Also, your paying the transport down to eastern part of the country and sponsoring other necessary things is a second eye opener that he cannot fend for his family, God can see you through if you can remove him from your mind and go on to fight your battle, may God help you as you try to surrender your heart unto Him (God) and depend on Him for the rest of your life.

Seriously speaking girlfriend get out of that wedding, because it will just be down hill all the way. He hasn't shown remorse, which signifies he is not willing to make it work. Anything that starts on deceit never ends ok. Hard as it seems or painful as it feels get out fast.
