Today is Eid-el-Kabir, an Islamic festival devoted to the celebration of the spirit of sacrifice and Allah’s unfailing benevolence to mankind.

The feast commemorates Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son, Ismael, and Allah’s provision of a sacrificial ram in his place. The feast is a celebration of unqualified love and total obedience to Allah.

So from GISTMANIA to you our dearest Muslim readers:

As you offer your prayers Eid-Ul-Adha,
We hope that the true spirit of this auspicious season fills your hearth with happiness and good cheer.
May Allah's peace be with you.
May this Eid bring fun, happiness, God's endless blessings. May this Eid bring fresh love...
May Allah shower countless blessing upon you and your family.
