Two suspected female terrorists were on Monday, October 5 arrested by police officers in Abuja. The incident happened around 10.30am at the Gwarimpa Estate, CITEC end of the pedestrian bridge at the CITEC Junction Bus Stop. The girls wearing hijab, but not covering their faces, were standing under the pedestrian bridge, as if waiting for somebody. More than 15 plain clothes police operatives arrived in two vehicles and stormed the place where the two girls aged between 16 and 18, were standing.
Three operatives showed the girls their Nigeria Police Force identification cards and asked them to get into the waiting vehicles. However, feeling resistance from the girls, more police operatives rushed to the scene and started forcing the girls to move. The girls were screaming and refusing to get into cars. One of witnesses of the incident said that when he saw the girls standing for some time under the bridge, and he had an uncanny feeling that these girls might be terrorists. Therefore, he was not surprised when the police operatives arrived and picked them up. When contacted ASP Anjuguri Manzah, the FCT command spokesman, said that he was not aware of the arrest, adding that he would make enquires. Later on the same day, the Federal Capital Territory officials convened an emergency security meeting. FCT permanent secretary, John Chukwu, urged all the military heads to enhance surveillance in and around the FCT to prevent tragedies in the future.

If they are suicide bombers, the police should use them properly to get to their sponsors no matter what it will cost

Fellow countrymen and women. Let's not throw caution to the air. The fact that they were wearing hijab and teenagers does not necessarily imply terrorism. Where is the bomb? Besides, even as a man I would have screamed and kicked  in case some plain clothes men try to force me into a vehicle in Naija taken into consideration the rising spate of  kidnapping in Naija. First the evidence, before the torture as suggested by some readers

The only way to ascertain if the girls are bombers is if bombs were found on them. Poster u didn't tell us whether they found bombs on them. If not, how are we sure those girls are bombers??
