There is an ongoing controversy between Nollywood actresses, Queen Nwokoye and Rachel Okonkwo over movie roles. Over the weekend, an unnamed top producer called Rachel Okonkwo to play the lead in his movie while foremost actress Queen played the sub-lead/supporting actress. Reports claim all hell broke loose when the controversial thespian, Miss Queen, allegedly walked into the set and discovered the lady she was playing supporting actress with was her junior in the industry, Rachel. She reportedly left the set, saying she can never play under the starlet, that she was expecting to see the likes of Genevieve or Omotola and not Rachel who just got famous like ‘last week’, as she allegedly put it. She, however, entered into her car and reportedly drove off. Although, reports further revealed that the producer later resolved that Queen plays the lead while Rachel plays the supporting actress, the latter who heard the news was devastated as she refused to come on set and play a supporting role under Queen. According to her, she said she can never act under Queen.

The producer is the cause of these nonsense. It's just like calling Pete Edochie to play supporting role to Zach Orji. How can he do such a thing knowing that it doesn't balance at all.?

What matters is good the product is market. It's egocentric to allow personality to get in the way of a team work. Just do your work well, get the finished product and accept your share and move on, stop allowing ego to becloud your reasoning. It's about the dough/money not selfishness.

A contract is a contract and if u don't like it tough... Top actors dey play supporting roles to unknown actors... Ur head don dey too big for u....D producer is a fool by falling for dis attitude problem... He should have got somebody else....I don't even no her anyway...

Queen too sef. What she said about Rachel wasn't nice. Am am Rachel am n other gonna take that. Queen is right but just don't thru it on Rachel's face. Queen is local, Rachel is high class to me. The only thing with Rachel I don't like is the bleaching thing.
