A foolish thief who tried to steal Serena Williams' cell phone learned the hard way just how hard it is to outrun one of the greatest athletes of all time.

According to the story Serena shared on her Facebook page, she was out to dinner with a friend when the man came over and stood silently next to her at the table. Shortly after, Williams said as the man reached down and started to take off with her cell phone, her superhero instinct kicked in.
