Members of the Hausa community –Northerners – residing in Onitsha area of Anambra were reported to have gone into hiding in the wake of the violent pro-Biafra protest in the area which claimed eleven lives.
According to The Punch, the Northerners – baristas, shoe menders, green grocers, barbecue sellers and allied workers – who fled the town following the two-day pro-Biafran agitation fracas are yet to be seen in public.
It was learnt that they did not open shops on Saturday, December 5, 2015.
Bear in mind, during the Biafran agitation mayhem, the Onitsha central mosque, a nomadic school and many other properties belonging to the Hausa community were destroyed.
More findings say most of them were seeking refuge in the Nigerian Army and Nigeria Police barracks in the area, apparently for fear of attacks.
Meanwhile, Daily Post reports has it that as at Friday morning, December 4, Northerners were sighted departing Onisha and Asaba.

what do u mean by standing the hausa. see majority of them don't value life. that is why they r so violent. that Biafra is protesting does not mean we will kill and burn our selves like the most northerners..

This is clear now, they are using there nasty protect to destroyed manythings even killing people. what they are doing is not proper now, must they burn mosque or first hausa people. they knw that buhari is a hausa man that if they keep pressurisng on them buhari will do something.

The funny thing is that no one has ever shown the picture of the purported burnt mosque. For me this is just plight to instigate people against one another.
Authoritatively from independent eyewitness reports from Onitsha, the place that was torched were some kiosks near the mosque and no mosque was torched that's how come up til now you don't have any picture of the so called burnt mosque be it on the social media or elsewhere.
Also the reported Dangote trucks that were burnt has been proven to be a 2013 picture of Dangote trucks that were caught up in an inferno somewhere on the exoress road and had nothing to do with Onitsha. Again there is no eye witness report that any Dangote truck is presently burnt or torched in Onitsha. all propaganda to incite people against another.
