Senator Florence Ita-Giwa, believes that the most effective way of ending rape and segxwal assault in Nigeria is by making sure that the genitals of convicted rapists are cut off.
Ita-Giwa said this on Saturday, while speaking as a special guest at ‘Magnenta and Black Art & Fashion for Charity’, a fund raising exhibition for Mirabel Centre.
She stressed that jailing child-rapists is not enough punishment for their evil acts.
While recounting the ordeal of a rape victim, she said: “The lady said she was happy that she got justice for her four-year-old daughter who was raped by two men but, in my mind, if I were a judge and a man is brought to court for molesting a child, he will receive capital punishment. But I will say,`don’t kill him, rather let him live his life in pain, let his organ be cut off.”
“He should not be allowed the pleasure of using that organ anymore. If the organ is not cut off, at the end of his term in prison, he will use it on other children.”
“Fortunately for them, I’m no longer in the Senate but I will find a way to get it into the chamber. This is the proper way to end the evil of rape in the society.”

Listen to the former senator. "Unfortunately I am no longer in the Debate". When you were there why didn't you fight for the innocent victims or did you had a memory loss or was taking your share of the looted national cake too important then than the pain of those abused children? Anyway, here in the West child rapist hardly live through their sentencing in prison before facing the wrath of other prison inmates. It's a death sentence if other prison inmates find out you came to prison for an offence against a child. Don't forget there are also fathers in prison and they would not hesitate to snuff that useless life out of the child rapist

I kinda agree with the Senator on that. They should even make it a death sentence because the small girl has been scarred for life. It is sharing Madness for a man molesting a minor when there are prostitutes looking for customers and you go defiling babies.

No. Why cutting? Let every woman be equipped with a concoction of magun (don't miunr). It is not difficult to make. Just three leaves cooked and eaten like vegetable. It is very powerful and potent.

Wrong prescription. Such punishment would make the rapists more brutal in their action, to the effect that they would eliminate victims that can recognise them.

Support this for any grown man who rapes a child....in adult female it has to be proven seriously because sometimes it might be settlement issues and the girl will scream rape
