Yesterday, June 5, 2016 popular singer, Brymo revealed he doesn’t think an education is important and so does Cool FM OAP, Freeze. It all started after a fan begged Brymo to help with his tuition and the singer gave a terse reply that sent social media into a frenzy.

“School is not for everyone. Just drop out and chase your dreams. It’s what I did,”
Brymo said. His reply however earned the ‘Klitoris’ singer a lot of criticism, but he has a strong voice jumping to his defense in the person of Freeze.

Daddy Freeze took to his Instagram page yesterday, June 5, 2016, in defence of Brymo adding,

“I got an education because my learned parents wanted me to, I have never needed it.”
Known for his controversial comments, the award winning media personality then launched into a talk about how “sheep mentality” is ridding Nigeria of innovation.
Freeze at the tallest residential building event in Lagos. He also took time to list popular people who dropped out of Western schools. Freeze is well known for not shying away from controversy, with the OAP always expressing his views regardless of the unpopularity of such.

These idiots make funny examples with what happens abroad, the point remains not everyone will be a singer and make or a Dj and make it in Nigeria. Nigerian structure is not positioned for industrial development or any economic development, and the worst is as a skilled and talented youth cannot lay hands on bank support. Those drop out abroad can get loans and credit card no matter how small. What do we get here, Police harassment and social injustice.

na fact be that I dropped out from school too and I'm making more dough than most graduates will make in their lifetime in 5 years time I'm starting my own private venture and people with degrees will work for me school is not for everybody but it's the best alternative if u have no talent or connection no be like say if u even graduate u go get employment.

Your clarification is not even clear enough. Being educated does not necessarily mean you must have a degree to be called an educated person. This is where you got it wrong. There are people out there with vast knowledge. You have so many people out there who are authorities in so many areas.Bring up a topic, they will educate you in any topic that is been brought up before them. They will contribute immensely in any area of discussion, be it business, management and the rest. These people have general knowledge. The only thing that they do not have is a degree. Some are uni drop out, while some never stepped into you uni but as a result of self development. Some even prefer to so short causes "certification" . Would you term this people as uneducated? You cannot. They only do not have a degree. Degree is just a level of qualification.It does not define how sound you are education wise. Take for example Bill Gate, he is a uni drop out, but that does not mean he is not educated. He is a genius, better than 50% of his lecturers even as a student.He obviously felt why was he wasting his time when he is self tutored.He does not need his lecturer for him to achieve what he needs to achieve in his career. If we all can achieve what we need to know in our various discipline without stepping into the university, then university will be needless.Being is not by obtaining a degree.Education are in different categories.Education by certification, education by obtaining a diploma in one discipline etc. These are all mere quification. Education is your knowledge as you go through the faces of studies in different categories. It could be self studies. So, guys let's get it right. I had a couple of white guys I met in Cyber in the UK during one of the conferences for cyber Security/computer foresensic experts in the Uk.Most of these guys do not have a degree in this discipline but are certified, and they are very grounded.what some of them knew, some of us with degree in this field do not know it.Despite the fact that we all studied in the UK universities.
