There is an ongoing protest by women in Owerri,Imo state capital -against the decision of the Governor to relocate Ekeukwu-Owerri market this morning.

when people vote public officers based on popularity, what do you expect?
they take decision that affect the masses without consulting the masses.

sorry, i was made to understand that the government communicated their decision to them since 3-4yrs ago, they refused to move. The governor just recently called all stakeholders to a town hall meeting with all the traders in the market.
so they were dully informed
