BUSTED! NDLEA Nab Man In Possession Of 9.8m FAKE Naira Notes Concealed In A Noodles Carton

Mohammed Adamu was arrested with the fake currency notes in Kwara State. The fake currency are mainly N1,000 notes concealed in a carton of noodles wrapped with cello tape. He was arrested while on his way to Kano on Aug. 9, 2016.
The NDLEA Commander in the state, Apeh Reuben, said that Adamu conspired with a yet-to-be-identified individual in Ilorin to carry out the act. He said, “Investigation is in progress to arrest the accomplice. A layman can hardly identify that they are fake currency.
We just want to alert the public to be aware of such fake money because if this amount of money is allowed to be injected into the economy, it is very bad. These days we even have cases of people collecting fake money from the ATM.”…. and end up spending it on fake Yeezy boosts….
