Police Arrest Man Selling Adulterated Vodka Drinks and Alcohol In Lagos - Video

A Nigerian man has been arrested for allegedly manufacturing and distributing a fake alcoholic beverage.

Ugochukwu Alozie was arrested while producing fake 'Johnnie Walker Red Label' mixing other chemical with  a local alcoholic beverage (Ogogoro) in an underground building  and selling them to the public.



Producing fake alcohol is being seen as a way of making money and it can be bought cheaply. However it’s a big problem because of the risks it poses to people’s health, it can cause anything from nausea to blindness and even death.

Drinking alcohol containing these chemicals can cause nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain, drowsiness and dizziness. It can also lead to kidney or liver problems and even coma. Methanol, a substance which can be used in fake vodka, may cause permanent blindness.

For the safety and comfort of Nigerian people , If you think you’ve drunk fake alcohol, the best thing to do is to seek medical advice. You can also report it to your local environmental health officer. Watch video below:

Nigeria people should stop selling empty drink bottles,destroy those empty bottles after finishing your drink,with out those empty bottles they can't produce fake drink.the problem now is the police with their bribe manners,they we not send he to jail,they we ask him to bail him self...for me this guy need 20 to 30 years in prison if he name other people they are doing the business together but if he refuse to confess,life in in prison because is like a murdre case,this why must youth are dying of kidney problems
