Guys, I`m not just concerned about what is happening in Nigeria, but as well the manner in which we present ourselves and case  to the rest of the world using this medium "Naijapals". The way we insult, embarrass and antagonize each other with embarrassingly bad english grammar is becoming unbearable and as a matter-of-fact alarming. This portrays the nigerian society as being the least educated even amongst other African countries.

If I would suggest, it`s time to watch it! It`s high time we stopped posting comments written in terribly bad and horrifying traditional african slangs and "English-Made-Easy". A language reserved for the least illiterate african populace should not be used on an internationally used and recognized web sites like the "Naijapals" It`s time to get along and not going back, it`s time to go on the stage and not behind the stage, it`s time to show the world we are better informed and stopp adding to the already battered image of our beloved country (the giant of Africa). It`s time we watch what we say, wright or do expecially if they must be on the net.

The situation of africas "supper power" is heartbreaking, unacceptable and regrettable and should be condemned. But as civilized and socialised (and surely educated) individuals that we are, we must tackle our problems in a civilized manner if we are expecting to record any possitive change. Our individual reactions, attitude, comments, languages etc. send unexpected, unbelievable powerful but negative message about us accross the globe. Believe it or not, it does and `ll never do us any good!

Are we really a super power ??

@ poster
what i believe is that this site caters for a wide range of individuals irrespective of education and linguistic status
even the piece you wrote up there is not impeccable english.
Its a forum to air your views without fear or favor .

Am sure any other site that emphasize perfect english to participants would be frequented by perfectionists
But again its true we should be mindful how we treat and express ourselves  . thank you

This is a free and open forum for nigerians and friends. Anybody can air his true views of things and where nigerians can inform each other about facts and other stuff in and around nigeria.

You r coming as a newbie and asking the forum members to write in british university english only and not to bring up negative news nor facts about nigeria again. You say, this our way of presence would make the world realize, that nigeria is "superpower" and "giant of africa", while u r presenting ur body on ur pic  to much.

I dont share ur mind. People here want to feel free in expressing their minds and in any nigerian slang they like. Also it s for anybody, no matter the education they have. And it s good like that cause it makes this site so lively and enjoyable.

Besides no education, no university english nor manipulated news would deceive ppl from the true picture and reality of the nigerian country.
