Arsene Wenger To Lose His Star Player To Spain For £220,000 A Week Contract?

Spanish club Atletico Madrid have been reportedly interested in signing Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez, and the club are said to be prepared to pay the Chile international £220,000 every week should he accept the deal.

The 28-year-old former Barcelona star has been offered £160,000 a week contract for him to extend his stay at Arsenal, but he is yet to sign any deal with the Gunners.

Manchester United are currently planning to lure French striker Antoine Griezmann to Old trafford, and Atletico Madrid have identified Alexis Sanchez as a good replacement.

Griezmann, 25, is expected to fetch his £86 million release clause, which will enable Atletico to bid about £35m for the Arsenal ace as well as afford his salary demands.

Meanwhile Alexis Sanchez has 18 months left on his current contracts with Arsenal.
