A Jehovah Witness church member named Peace Euodia has died after she had excess bleeding during childbirth and refused blood transfusion because of her faith.

Jehovah Witnesses refuse blood transfusions because they believe the Bible commands them to abstain from ingesting BLOOD and that avoiding BLOOD pays respect to God as the giver of life. GENESIS 9:3-4. ACTS 15:19-21.
They DO accept NONBLOOD replacement fluids
This is why SOME doctors have often declined to treat Witnesses.
When I was in secondary school I remember they REFUSED to sing the Nigeria national anthem!
People interpret the Bible in different ways.
At least they DO NOT go around murdering and r.a.p.i.n.g in the name of their religion!!!

That's what true faith is all about.Jehovah's witneses know the importance of obedience to God's command even if doing so will result in death in this present system that will soon pass away. We can't break God's command simply because we want to save the life we are not sure will reach the next day. Everlasting life is more important to US. Please read(Matthew 16:25)
