Senate President, Bukola Saraki Appoints Former INEC Secretary Ahmed As New Chief Of Staff

Former secretary of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Dr. Hakeem Baba Ahmed has been appointed Chief of Staff to Nigeria’s Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki.

In a statement issued in Abuja by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Senate President, Yusuph Olaniyonu, he said the appointment takes immediate effect.

Until his appointment, the 61-year-old public servant was permanent Secretary at various times in the Presidency and later Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
