Nigeria Isn't bad, she is just a baby in the hands of masters who directs her daily course. I do agree and disagree with some of the views presented, tho im not an ambassador to or for the great nation, I will see myself more as an achiever who believes each new dawn presents brighter purpose than the other night when we laid our body to sleep. Come to think of it, what is Ugly or Bad about this nation, how many can you personally point at. We are the insectful racists labelling the poor nation the way we wants it. Yes, a lot are willing, planning and getting prepared to travel abroad, but do not forget that most are willing to embark on such trips as a problem-solving mission. ReplyLet me share this experience with you all. I was forced to studying sciences when i should have been a Literature student, I managed through my high school senior classes and also became an undergraduate of a prestigious university here in the field of Microbiology...what is the result, i started trailling even those i strongly believe might not have been sound as myself academically. This is an effect of the environment and the very little availability of choices to make..that is if you want a good one. I want you to imagine how hard you have to try to get admitted into a college here, even with the right grades, so be it because the most people at the helm of affairs here and so corrupt minded and biased towards justice and equality. It took me close to 4 years before i could get an admission into a federal university...i finally got in because i am stubborn and never relent until i achieve what i believe is rightfully mine. All the while, i am doing this to please someone, now tell me what happenes when you try to change your course, which automatically in my own case means changing my university, i hope the system becomes better son i wont have to spend another additional 4 years to achieve this. The leaders are not making a good platform towards sound educational and social goals, instead you have to be as insistent as myself to get to some places and make some achievements. I believe it is all going for better now, but why blame someone who wants to go where there is a better environment and a sound platform towards great achievements other than remain where efforts are neutralized and the wise is made to look like a fool...Little words there for the wise. The country is good, no doubt. Millions of dollars(though not the official currency here) keeps rolling into the pockets of those that are allegedly elected into public and social representative positions at all level..will you associate such to the voters fault even when he dosent know how far his votes help to put them there. Instead, they are indebted to those they believe installed them into such positions through massive rigging of elections. No worries, you will understand better realizing public leadership positions are held by those appointed by their God-fathers. God have mercy. I am not saying much, but if you ask me on my opinion, i wish, intend and definately by God's grace hope to travel to a more education-friendly environment to complete a degree in Literature or English. Knowledge gathered in the process will in no little amount help solidify an aspired great future in the desired fields. Literature Nobel Award winner, 1986 in person of Prof. Wole Soyinka did not only studied in greener pastures, but also made an impact in the entire world with divine literature skills, empowered by Almighty God but also ammassed through stages of learning in different countries of the world. So tell me, where's he now, Home. Ile labo si oko. not much to say again but I will tell you this a million times, Nigeria is as good as any other great nation as herself if in the right steering hands. Thank you for reading through, loads of fun places can be found almost everywhere, if in doubt, make a trip someday but remember to holla at me, it will be my pleasure to show you around. Have a great day. Esiarp I want to be remembered for making others happy, touching lives for positivity and making the headlines for being JUST Me
