BREAKING NEWS: Many Feared Dead As Building Collapses In Meiran, Lagos State

Scores of persons are reported dead on Saturday after a building collapsed in Meiran, Agbado-Oke Odo Local Council Development Area of Lagos.

Although the death toll can not be confirmed as at the time of filing this report, The Punch quoted an eye witness as saying that many people are feared dead.

People Build Hastily; To Quickly Let In As Many Tenants As Possible And Start Earning Big From House Rents.No Proper Dredging On Flood Prone Land, No Land Surveyor's Approval, No Approval From Environmental Agencies And Worst Of All They Build Upstairs On Parcels Of Land That Are Only Suitable For Bungalows.This Is The Result: House Collapse And Death.Too Hopeless.Ignorantly Hopeless.
