See Photo Of The Female Lawyer Arrested For Torturing Her Adopted Daughter After Tagging Her A Witch

The operatives of Nigerian Police at the Rivers State Command in Port Harcourt, have apprehended and on Wednesday, publicly paraded a female lawyer identified as Elizabeth Agboje, who allegedly tortured her adopted daughter.

 
According to a report by Punch Metro, the 9-year-old victim, Miss Bright Maxson, was first tagged a witch before she was reportedly tortured by her foster mother who has two biological children, and was said to have continually subjected the girl to degrading treatment without minding the implication.
 
While speaking to journalists during the parade of the suspect, the State Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Zaki, said that Mrs. Agboje was apprehended by the Human Rights Department of the Command for allegedly torturing Bright Maxson.
 
He said; “The Human Rights Officer of the Command, DSP Emmanuel Ukwenya, arrested one Barrister Elizabeth Agboje, who it was alleged, had been consistently torturing and assaulting little Miss Bright Maxson, accusing her of being a witch and a thief."

“She is also alleged to have subjected her to all manners of degrading treatments for over seven years. The lawyer is a suspect who has made useful statement to the police and as soon as investigation is concluded, she will be charged to court for proper prosecution,” Zaki added.
 
It was, however, gathered that the victim, who was said to be sick when she was rescued by the police, had been receiving treatment at the Police Hospital in Port Harcourt.

Some families ADOPT children with the PLAN to use them as perpetual HOUSEMAIDS and HOUSEBOYS.

More STRIGENT CHECKS have to be carried out before these children are adopted out. Those in charge of adoptions should NOT be fooled by titles - being a lawyer DOES NOT mean HONESTY .

If FORIEGNERS can ADOPT AFRICAN CHILDREN and treat them with HUMAN DIGNITY why can't we?

EVERY CHILD has a RIGHT to special PROTECTION and CARE.
