Police to pay 100 Million Naira to Boko Haram family

KANO, Nigeria — A Nigerian court has ordered police to pay 100 million naira (666,400 dollars) in damages to relatives of a slain Islamic militant leader, officials said Wednesday.

Baba Fugu Mohammed — father-in-law of Mohammed Yusuf, the slain leader of the Boko Haram sect — was killed after allegedly surrendering to police in Maiduguri in the aftermath of the sect’s rebellion last July in which more than 800 people were killed.

That should teach nigerian police a lesson. The court should go further to relive the officers that took part in those extra-judicial killings their posts.

i want to say something....those Christians and families that was killed my boko haram....how much did the state or the government pay to them?now the police should pay 100m for the so called boko haram family...what about those he killed?what happens to them?just tell me and i want to know what happens to those hundreds of Christians and others that was killed by boko haram......court,,,,,state to pay the family 100m each other...or let us divide the country,,,,,,,,wahala dey
