Nigerian Policeman Killed And Another Missing In Fresh Benue Attack

A police officer has been killed while another one was seriously injured after they were attacked by armed militia in Yogbo community in Guma local government area of Benue state on Saturday February 3rd. A statement released by the state police command says the armed militia attacked police officers stationed in the community and engaged them in a fierce gun battled. Three of the militants died in the gun battle but their corpse were taken away by their fleeing members.

Sadly, a non-commissioned officer was killed during the gun battle while another one is yet to be seen. Another person believed to be a resident of the community was also killed during the gun battle.
