Twitter users resident in Kaduna have reacted in shock after Kaduna Electric announced the extension of the planned power outage from the 6th of February to April 14th. See their official statement and some of the tweets below...

This is serious. Ministry of power is demanding N75Billion to generate additional 2000 megawatts. Is is not up to amount these thieves

The government must raise the N75 billion requested by ministry of power to generate aditional 2000 megawatts that will partially settle this power crisis. Afterall, this amount is not up to what these thieves steal from government.

one needs to forget the government because they don't have the brain capacity to run a country. The amenities would only come if Nigerians can manage their electricity, water supply etc, which is nearly impossible since Nigerians lack the spirit of cooperation and togetherness,  and there is no trust, the twisted and criminal reputation, makes it hard for people to work together, this I feel will continue to plunge this country in more crisis, unless we are lucky to have a visionary leader again.
