Nollywood Actress, Mercy Aigbe Calls Out Diamond Bank Over Scam (Details)

Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe has called out Diamond Bank after someone opened an account in the bank with her company’s name when she already has an account with them and with that same name.

The actress also wondered why scammers easily use Diamond Bank to scam their victims.
She wrote on her IG page:
”Disclaimer!!!! This account details is FAKE and it is not my company’s account details
Jesus!…..Guys pls help me tag Diamond bank @diamondbankng and ask them why is it only their banks all these scammers use to scam People! Can you also pls kindly ask them how is it possible for someone to open an account in my company’s name, which has an already existing account with them! How?? I am confused!!!!!….. This has been happening for some time now and I have tried severally to reach them @diamondbankng instead the situation just keeps getting worse! To the extent that this Scammer now has the effrontery to go ahead and open an account with the same bank in my company’s name!!!!!!…..So one cannot even do business in peace in this country”.
In another post, she wrote:
This is my company’s already existing account with @diamondbankng ….. so how is it possible someone else can open an account in this same name with the same bank??. @diamondbankng

Last year, her marriage to her estranged husband, Lanre Gentry went through a rough path as she was allegedly beaten by him. The actress shared a video of the injuries she sustained as a result of the domestic violence she claimed he perpetrated on her. Shortly after the incidence, Mercy moved out of her matrimonial home and unfollowed her hubby on social media. Speaking on the beating, she said,
“He beats me consistently.
“I stayed because I loved him and because everytime he beats me, he begs and gets family and friends to beg me. He promised regularly to change but he never did. When my husband gets angry, he gets physical, not only to me but to anyone. He has done that with my house help who reported him to the Police years ago”.
It appears things are about to start getting rosy between the couple after she recently celebrated her birthday. Her hubby took the opportunity to celebrate her with the below quote.
Today you are @40 even though we are fighting I still say happy birthday to you because you are still my wife and my children mother as I use to call you ones again happy birthday to you Mercy Aigbe Gentry. Long life and God bless you.
Mercy proceeded to receiving the olive branch by following Lanre Gentry on social media after months of animosity towards each other, a period that saw Lanre claiming the actress is suffering from mental illness.

Mercy Aigbe is the foolish one and not Diamond bank. Let me clear you and the illitrate celebrity Mercy Aigbe. Yes, you can open an account in the bank with the same name that someone else already used to open an account in the same bank. It's the same name but different account number, different address, different phone number(s). Unless you have legally registered he name around the world as your "trademark"
