Pansegxwals have the capability of attraction to others regardless of their gender identity or biological sex. A pansegxwal could be open to someone who is male, female, transgender, intersex, or agendered/genderqueer.
The singer whose segxwality has been a subject of interest (and gossip) for a long while addresses the issue as she covers the latest edition of Rolling Stone.
“Being a queer black woman in America,” she says. “someone who has been in relationships with both men and women – I consider myself to be a free-ass motherF.ucker.” She initially identified as bisegxwal, she clarifies, “but then later I read about pansegxwality and was like, ‘Oh, these are things that I identify with too.’ I’m open to learning more about who I am.”
She also says she hasn’t necessarily hidden her segxwality like people are wont to believe. “If you listen to my albums, it’s there.”
