Mohammed Burtu, a herdsman also indigine of Karau-Karau village in Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State who was charged with receiving a stolen cow have been released after court today as has been  proved to be innocent of all the charges against him.

The Magistrate, Mr Ibrahim Emmanuel, discharged Burtu after the resumed hearing of the case. The prosecutor, Inspector Musa Abdullahi, asked for an adjournment, to enable him to present the investigating police officer involved in the case but the magistrate blatantly refused because the case have been severally adjourned adding that during the court setting before today the prosecutor in person of Musa had promise to bring in a live withness but failed.
