London Heathrow airport is temporarily shut off due to a drone flying in the air field, a similar incident happened 2 weeks ago at London Gatwick airport and lasted for close to a week. The impact at the heathrow airport is however more significant as over 200,000 passengers use the airport on a daily basis. The official handle of the airport tweeted:

We are responding to a drone sighting at Heathrow and are working closely with the Met Police to prevent any threat to operational safety. As a precautionary measure, we have stopped departures while we investigate. We apologise to passengers for any inconvenience this may cause.
and it has also been reported to the metropolitan police who responded with the message below:
