A man has reportedly divorced his wife over her stand to vote for President Muhammadu Buhari in the upcoming general elections. The man identified as Abdullahi Yada’u, told BBC Hausa Service that he divorced his wife, Hafsat Suleiman, because she insisted on voting for Mr Buhari. Mr Yada’u, a resident of Kanam Local Government Area of Plateau State, stated that he previously supported Buhari in the 2015 elections, but felt disappointed with his regime, and would not vote for him in the upcoming election. He said;
“I told her that she must not vote for him but she insisted which led to a quarrel which attracted the attention of our neighbours, I slapped her and told her to choose between voting for Buhari and staying with me. She ran away.
“Later her parents called me and I narrated to them what transpired between us. But still my wife insisted on voting for Mr Buhari, that’s how I divorced her in the presence of her parents.”

I understand your anger but that was not enough to divorce your wife, her vote will not make Buhari win the election. Even Aisha will not vote for him.
Go and bring your wife back home, don't be a dictator in your household. It's better to have a wife who tell you her mind than the one who says okay and do something else.
