VIDEO: The Oil In Bayelsa and Delta Belongs To Jigawa - Hon. Farouk Adamu

An house of representatives member from Jigawa State, Hon. Farouk Adamu has revealed that all the oil in the southern part of Nigeria belongs to all the people in Nigeria regardless of where they come from and that it is meant to be shared to all states, not just the state where the oil was discovered, as a matter of fact he said that Jigawa, a norther state will fight with their blood to rightfully get the share of the oil that belongs to them.

"The oil in Bayelsa belongs to Jigawa .The oil in Delta belongs to Jigawa. And we shall do everything in our power even our blood to make sure that we get uninterrupted supply of the oil
in Bayelsa and Delta."

He has made a valid point... no sentiments. As long as we are called Nigeria, there is nothing the people who own the land where the oil is flowing from can do to prevent the whole of the country from benefiting from it. Na just to dey make noise as usual. However, the sad thing is that the land where the oil is, is under-developed and most of the oil blocks belong to those from Jigawa and beyond. Unless the people of the the Niger Delta can completely cut off those from Jigawa and their brothers, they will only continue to suffer and smile. Oil dey for Niger Delta, but power, military, election rigging dey for hand of northerners. My people in Niger Delta... open ya sense.

Really? Some politicians should exercise caution in this critical period not to create more tension in the land. While all resources in Nigeria belongs to Nigerians, it will be erroneous and dangerous though to make such inciting comments. Anyway I believed the so called lawmaker did not make such statement.
