President Muhammadu Buhari and his wife, Aisha, have cast their votes in the Governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections currently holding in 29 states of the country.

The president and the first lady exercised their voting rights at the polling unit 003 Kofar Baru III, Gidan Niyam, Daura, Katsina State at about 8.08am today.

President Buhari assured that security agencies would address issues of violence trailing the polls.
