MADAGASCAR

Madagascar are unbeaten in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in what is their first appearance in the tournament and they earned their first ever win as they defeated fellow debutants Burundi.
A late free-kick from Marco Ilaimaharitra with just under 15 minutes remaining broke the deadlock between the two teams and earned Madagascar the win to move them on to four points in Group B.
Madagascar are now in a great position to progress to the knockout stages but are likely to need a win to be certain of progression to the last 16 and could name an unchanged line-up for the third game in succession here.
NIGERIA

Nigeria qualified for the last 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations as they claimed their second successive win, this time overcoming Guinea to sit on top of Group B with six points to their name.
Kenneth Omeruo’s header 17 minutes from the end was enough for Nigeria who again failed to perform with any great confidence and must improve when they enter the knockout stages of the competition.
Nigeria opted to drop captain Jon Obi Mikel for their game against Guinea but he will be hoping to be reinstated here in what could be one of several changes with coach Gernot Rohr potentially resting several of his players to save their legs for the knockout stages.
THE PREDICTION
Nigeria can rest easy in the knowledge that they will feature in the last 16 but Madagascar need a positive result here to ensure their progression. They could still advance with a loss but with their fate in their own hands, they will go all out for the win. Nigeria could rest some of their stars as they look to keep them fresh for greater challenges ahead in the knockout stages and that could open the door for Madagascar to earn a point and make it to the last 16 in what would be a great achievement in their first Africa Cup of Nations.
