UGANDA

Uganda have put themselves in a great position to progress to the knockout stages of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations but they may be left to rue failing to beat Zimbabwe in their last game.
The Ugandans took the lead in just the 12th minute against Zimbabwe thanks to a goal from Emmanuel Okwi but they were pegged back before the break and were perhaps lucky to hold on to a point as they were outplayed for decent spells in the second half.
Ronald Mukiibi came into the side for Murushid Juuko following his booking in the Uganda’s opening game against DR Congo as they looked to protect him from a potential ban that would have ruled him out of this game so he should come straight back into the side here.

EGYPT

Egypt made it two wins from two at the start of their Africa Cup of Nations campaign as they moved into the last 16 thanks to a comfortable victory over DR Congo which saw them top Group A.
The Egyptians opened the scoring midway through the first half with a goal from Aston Villa’s Ahmed Elmohamady before Liverpool’s Mo Salah scored his first goal of the tournament thanks to a powerful effort.
With qualification for the knockout stages secured, Egypt may opt to rest some of their star players to keep them fresh but one man who will not feature is Amr Warda who has been sent home for disciplinary reasons.
THE PREDICTION
Uganda may be able to progress to the last 16 even if they lose this contest with Egypt but they may pay for not beating Zimbabwe in their last game. With Egypt winning both of their games so far, they will look to maintain their 100% record even if they choose to rotate their side and will be confident of doing so. Uganda will be competitive but are likely to lack the quality needed to beat the Egyptians and their fate in the tournament will depend on other results.
