Prediction
Benin survived former champions Ghana and Cameroon in the group phase before causing a major upset in the round of 16 by eliminating Morocco. Senegal could, however, prove too strong for them to overcome.
Senegal continue to underline their status as one of the favourites for the title with a string of stellar displays. They booked their place in the last eight with 1-0 victory over Uganda courtesy a first-half strike by Sadio Mane. Mane has scored three goals in his last two matches.
Senegal have never lost to Benin, claiming three wins and one draw from four previous matches.
 Senegal 1 : 0 Benin
