The tribute ceremony that took place without incident on the night of Friday to Saturday degenerated Saturday morning.
The tomb and coffin of the Ivorian singer #DJArafat were opened by fans Saturday morning in Abidjan, while the star of the coupé-décalé had been buried after a night of musical tribute, according to reports.
On a video broadcast on social networks, crowd of agitated young people were seen opening the grave and the coffin of DJ Arafat, taking pictures of his body.
"We wanted to see the body of our idol before the closure of the tomb," said a fan (without giving his name) to an AFP journalist near the cemetery of Williamsville, in the commune of Adjamé. "It's Yoro, it's him! Shouted another fan, referring to DJ Arafat's nickname "Yorobo".
