Do you know Nigerian senators receive "hardship" allowance each month? Nigerian senators have more than 10 benefit and bonuses that sees their salary come to around N30million per month or 83,000 USD or 69,000 GBP per month! This is in a country where people earn less than 80GBP which is the minimum wage and people wonder why politicians are turning billionaires and killing to stay in the office?
