you sounds like a very ignorant abnoxious human being ,depression is a real thing and nothing to even be making silly comment like that about nomatter how you feel about it.people need encouragement and support ,you saying you suffer from it makes me think you don't even know nothing about it.this guy clearly was trying to use that as a coping mechanism but in reality that's no his problem and solution .You always feel like if you do this I will  be ok or if I make this I be fine but you just never happy even tho people or your self know you should .and in a black community this is still a massive problem for us to come to accept that this thing is real and we need to start checking upon our selfs and help one another
