The decomposing body of a middle-aged man was at the weekend found dangling from a tree in Umuoghara Community, Ezza North Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
The man’s lifeless body was found on Friday morning in a forest in the community.
The body was reportedly found by a member of the community who was said to have gone to fetch firewood in the forest.
The man was said to have quickly alerted the police in the area who immediately moved to evacuate the corpse.
Sources in the area told our correspondent that the deceased was believed to have committed suicide few days back before his body was discovered on Friday morning.
A stakeholder in the community and majority leader of Ezza North Legislative Council, Hon.Nwali Humphrey, confirmed the incident.
