Does age matter in a relationship?

Most ladies go against hooking up to a guy younger than the are. Some men confess that they cannot marry a lady that is not at least ten years younger while some ladies will never fall in love with a guy that is not at least 5 years older. Is this not a way to loss someone that might be a "Mr/Mrs Right?". I have a case of a lady that is 2 years older than the guy and was disapproved by the guy's parent. What is your own take on this?

I believe that age does not matter in a relationship.
If love is right, and if you both are sure of your relationship then it must be ok.
Me and my bf we have a age diffrents from 11 and a half year.
We have a relationship for almost 2 years now.
For us age doesnt matter, we believe in eachother, and we trust each other.
