so many topic has been posted on this very topic now on the facebook , quite interesting but alot of the said writers mix up things maybe due to their ignorant of its meaning , there great difference betwen zakat , zadaqah and zakat al fitr itself , zakat is only bidding on every rich muslim male and female alike on their wealth , and there are conditions attach to it , it has to reach a certain amount , and it must have been kept for a whole year , but zakat alfitr is bound on all muslim male or female rich or poor , even a baby born before the EID isinclusive ,
aim and objective of ZAKAT ALFITR is to put smiles on the faces of the less privileges in the society on the day of SALLAH when every one supose to be home and happy during the festival,and zakat alfitr purfies some irregularity that might have occours through out the fasting period , and its a must and compulsry on every male and female , even the poorest one has to pay his /her own too , out of what he/she received from other peoples
may ALLAH accepts our fast and grants us a longer life to witness yet another Ramadan insha ALLAH
