Arise o compatriots, our fatherlands call obey, to serve our fatherland with all your heart, strength love and sublime faith.
Let the labour of our heroes that have past the like of Macaulay, Azikiwe, Awolowo, Murtala, Giwa, and Yar’ adua and others never be in vain.
Let us serve with heart, might and love one nation that we desire to bind in freedom, faith, commitment, peace and unity.
This should be our hope for a Nigeria at fifty.
Fellow Nigerians, life at fifty should be a no joke life, they say if you are not wise at forty and rich at fifty then you are lost, offcourse that draws to us fellow Nigerians that we are not lost, Nigerian was and is wise with good leaders who only lack dedication, backup and faith to carry out their work effectively.
Nigeria is also rich at fifty but only lacks the initiative of putting this wealth to use.
Who then is Nigeria?offcourse Nigeria is you and me, the young and the old, rich and the poor, married and the single, the government and the governed are Nigeria.
Our hope therefore lies in the hands of us all. Our destiny is in our hands.
Let us therefore aspire to reach the peak.
Fellow Nigerians, let us make a difference, let us desire to reach the peak. You will not make a difference if you are placed where you criticise.
Let us work together as one sublime nation with unity and faith, peace and progress.
