D’Banj was accused of rape by a lady, and his issue resurfaced few months ago after many Nigerians began ranting on social media for justice.

A statement released read

“Finally D’banj vindicated !!! Nigerian police clears D’banj 100% after fully carrying out their investigation and in parallel Seyitann pleaded and withdrew her petition.

We really need to take a close look at all the rape accusations out there and be able to differentiate between real cases and fake accusations. So that real rape victims are protected and innocent accusers are vindicated. Please let us build a better Nigeria and protect or citizens.

All this idiots that comments without even knowing the whole story.na thunder go kill all of una.how can someone come out to claim she was raped 3years ago and when she was asked if she filed a case against him then.she said, she tried reporting the case.that means there was no report when u was raped.secondly,the person she brought to testify was dbanj ex manager. And the idiot said dbanj was with his wife when he raped her.she did not report to the hotel management nor police.a plan deal wey they no arrange well.was timi dakolo wife that accused pastor of rape also poor?Huh?..lazy brainless youths that just bought browsing phone.

IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO TRUST IF THE POLICE INVESTIGATORS WHO INVESTIGATED DBANJ RAPE CASE WERE TOTALLY HONEST. THEY COULD HAVE ACCEPTED BRIBES FROM DBANJ BEHIND CLOSED DOOR WITHOUT THE KNOWLEDGE OF ANYONE TO CONCLUDE THE CASE IN HIS FAVOUR. PERHAPS, THE INVESTIGATORS WERE ALSO ABLE TO CONVINCE THE GIRL TO ACCEPT "NDA" BACK IT UP WITH MONEY AND COME OUT IN PUBLIC TO SAY DBANJ IS INNOCENT. GOD IS WATCHING OVER US.
