''WHERE YOU DEY'' WHAT IS D REASON BEHIND THIS QUESTION

MANY A TIME YOU FIND OUT WHEN YOUR B/ G FRIENDS CALLS YOU ON PHONE THAT, AFTER THE ''HELLO'' AND FEW OTHER WORDS, THE NEXT STATEMENT HE OR SHE MAKES IS ''WHERE ARE YOU'' OR ''WHERE YOU DEY''. MOST TIMES SHE / HE INSISTS YOU GIVE ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION. IT MUST HAVE HAPPENED TO YOU ANYWAY. NOW THE ISSUE IS, HOW DOES THIS QUESTION HELP RELATIONSHIP?

Yea, I have asked this question b4.................and honestly the person I asked this question gave me the room to ask..........the person allowed a lot of holes in his words/actions...........in other words, he wasnt trustworthy..........but presently I dont ask becos each time I get a call, I have idea of where the person(s) is(are)......
