Fani Kayode Blasts Nigerian Youth For Focusing On BBnaija Instead Of National Issue Like Malian

Former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode took to his Twitter handle to knock Nigerian youths who are more focused on Big Brother Naija reality TV show than on national issues.

In his tweet, he mentioned that a 25-year-old in Mali led a coup to reclaim his nation while a 30-year-old in Nigeria is all about Big Brother and the housemates.

Describing the situation as ”Truly Pitiful”, FFK wrote;

What is FFK s legacy?,what did he do in all the years that he was in Government to better the lot of Nigerians and Nigeria as a country?,now that he has been sidelined,he is looking for the youth to correct the things they didnt destroy. He like most of them,are calling on the youth to come and die on the streets for them,while they wait on the corner to take over if things work their way. I hear Diezani the other day saying things about the youth. A woman that has disgraced herself beyond belief. BBN is entertainment and has absolutely nothing that relates it to Government. People has the right to choices in life,some watch entertainment like nollywood,hollywood,music,BBn,football and so many other things,but that doent make them  unaware of the happenings in their environment or country. Nothing concerns BBN with the inability of Nigerians to take the bull by the horn. The only thing that is stopping us is FEAR. This mumu gay druglord talking trash usually on this forum cannot come out and be ready to die for this country,but he is a keyboard warrior here. Nigeria has been on a downward spiral since inception,and until we stop buying into the tools that the Government uses against the citizens to divide and weaken us,such as tribalism,religion,illiteracy,and terrorism,until we refuse to buy into those issues and unite as one fearless people,BBN will stop airing one day,and our problems will remain. We will rather find another excuse,PERIOD.

I am tired everybody saying youth are not ready for better Nigeria, let the elders also start the revolution and Leed by example. It takes only 3% of the population to start revolution so the elders can also start the revolution if they think we youth are not passionate about nigeria. The problem is not just Nigerian’s youth passion about political issue of the country but The problem is the mentality of all Nigerians we love football, entertainment, music, BBN, owambe party. Anything that will put a smile on our face even though we suffering. It is shameful to put all the blame on Nigerian youth. We are all to blame for the affair of the country not just the youth. If  the elder are disappointed about the attitude of the young generation they can also start the revolution, they are more than 3% population of the country

Soyinka had said it all' Nigerian youths celebrate those  who steal their future and give  them  crumbs. African youths are more interested  in now not   the tomorrow, they careless who dose what  until the deed is done before you see them  screaming all over the place. Whilst sub-Saharan African youths are lackadaisical in attitude toward national  development,  the adulterated  adults are  not only complacent but complacent  in enhancing the deep seated corruption that continue to derail progress and development .
