A few tears couldn’t help escaping Desmond Elliot on Thursday night, October 29, 2020 while on national television.

The actor cum Lagos lawmaker has been at the receiving end of social media trolling after a plenary session of Lagos lawmakers went viral where he called out the youths, use of social media, celebrities and social media Influencers.

During an interview with Arise TV however, Desmond Elliot shed a few tears as he recounted the losses experienced by members of his constituency as a result of the looting and destruction that followed the #EndSARS protest.

The former actor got emotional as he spoke on his visit to different parts of his Surulere constituency that had been destroyed with some businesses razed down by fire by hoodlums.

Desmond, you won a sit in wherever you sit today, because the Nigerian youths basically made that possible by giving you their votes. Now, you turn around to insult them. They now know the kind of (Change) you preached during your so called campaign. Ungrateful as you are. Nigerians are people that you don't want to joke with. Desmond, you have made a very horrible mistake. You are a very small, rude and arrogant boy. You just want to be seen, you just want to be heard, nothing else. Now, Nigerians have seen you, and heard you. Don't forget, this is not one of your amateur and unprofessional movies. This is people's lives you are dealing with. Get ready. When you don't use your words correctly, the aftermath can be devastating. The Worse That Can Happen To Anyone Is When They Are Talking And No One Is Listening.
