well as for me not all book worms are brilliant, bcos some after all their  reading they easily forget in any external or internal exams and in that case theory of forgetting would take place.

There is a difference b/t being INTELLIGENT & being BRAINY. Book worms are only being brainy. A few of them are also intelligent. Intelligent ppl are very sharp & fast in grabbing things. They dont need to read one thing over & over again b4 they could pass exams. But when u r not intelligent & u must pass ur exams, then u have to bcom a book worm. So, book worms are not always intelligent but they make use of their brain in thinking out solutions to their problems.

I read a lot and I've got a growing library... I don't know if it's indicative of intelligence, but it can't hurt. I just like living in other people's world for a little while and reading does that for you.

Well i love reading, but i don't believe book worms are intelligent. It's good to have a versatile knowledge about things around us, but what really makes us intelligent is applying that very knowledge to produce things that would benefit our lives and that of others.

hey! i disagree, no, they are not coz if they were... they wont be reading too much. it only takes a good memmory like mine to survive...bookworms are fraustrated laboring students trying to cover their weaknesses... but thats good for them.
