Panic As Gunmen Attack Mobile Policeman, Shot Him Dead & Cart Away Riffle In Delta

There was palpable tension in Delta State as gunmen in a convoy attacked a mobile policeman, shot him dead and carted away his service rifle.

The incident occurred at Edjeba Junction in Warri South Local Government Area.

It was learnt that the policemen were on guard duty at Light World and Industries Nigeria Limited when the gunmen struck and carried out the dastard act.

The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya could not be reached for comments at the time of this report.

The Acting Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Odafe Bright in a telephone chat with Our Correspondent said he has been away but promised to get back and confirm the report.
