Nigeria will soon create its digital currency, the Central Bank of Nigeria said Tuesday as the bank continues to face questions over its ban on cryptocurrency transactions in the country.

The governor of the CBN, Godwin Emefiele, said this while addressing journalists after a two-day meeting of the Monetary Policy Committee in Abuja.

He said the idea of a digital currency would soon become a reality in the country, and that the central bank has already set up its committee, which is working on the concept.

Such a good solution! I also think that it is a pretty decent opportunity and https://switchere.com/exchange/xrp-to-eth is a rather good way for me to invest. I can freely say that this opportunity is helpful, and I can freely change different cryptocurrency online.

Thanks for sharing. I also think that cryptocurrency is the future and everyone needs to invest in it. And I recently started  buying bitcoin on robinhood . So this trading app has so many benefits. It very helps me to trade stocks. Very satisfied with my results and will continue to invest.

On August 18, 2022, it became known that Nigeria's central bank digital currency, eNaira, has been used to transact $9.3 million since its introduction in October 2021. This was reported in the local Central Bank.

The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefile, called the volume and value of transactions on the platform remarkable, noting that the eNaira app has been downloaded 840,000 times and has about 270,000 active wallets as of August 2022.

However, it is not yet possible to use this cryptocoin on such popular exchanges as https://cryptex.net/en/otc.
