BREAKING: heavy shootings in Amagba, Obazagbon and Oke-Oroma communities over land disputes




Report Reaching us now is that Amagba and Obazagbon has Reportedly invaded Oke-Oroma Community.

An eyewitness account reported that there have been sporadic shootings by suspected invaders, leaving inhabitants to flee for safety.

Some Buildings in the said Oke-Oroma Community have been razed down.

According to the source who raised the alarm from a hideout within the Community, “these people are here again. Since yesterday, some people suspected to be youths from Obazagbon and Amagba are in our community again. Immediately the Military men manning the Post there left, they invaded us.

When asked the reason for the vacuum created by the military in their duty post, he said, One Alhaji who had been responsible for their upkeep withdrew his services without availing concrete reasons.

The report of the invasion is coming on the hill of the recent protest against land grabbing activities.

These elements have become monsters who believe they can flout the newly enacted PPP Laws prohibiting all forms of land speculations’ group in guise of Okaeghele, unreasonable Ohens and Village heads in the state.

The State Command Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bello KONTONGS when reached for comment, says, the Command is aware and has deployed combatant Policemen to save the day.

He averred that, the police will investigate the cause of the new incursion presently stemming within the area.

The invasion by some suspected expansionists on Oke-Oroma Community is one of series of such mindless adventures by the suspected neighboring communities in many years.            http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLdx31_OLl0
