Nigerian sprinter Blessing Okagbare has denied the allegation that she has been charged with by the Athletics Integrity Unit.
Okagbare was suspended during the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games after testing positive for a human growth hormone following an out-of-competition test.
She recently tested positive for recombinant erythropoietin ( EPO) a substance that is responsible for the increase of red blood cells. She is also accused of not cooperating with the AIU investigation.
The Unit said the Olympic medalist failed to comply with formal requirements to produce relevant documents, records and electronic storage devices needed for the investigation.
