Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on Tuesday, arrested a former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode.
Fani-Kayode was reportedly nabbed over alleged manipulation and forgery of documents.
It is understood that he has been whisked to the Lagos Zonal Office of the anti-graft agency for interrogation.
Spokesman of the Commission, Wilson Uwujaren, confirmed the report but did not give details as of the arrest of press time.
The development comes weeks after Fani-Kayode dumped the People’s Democratic Party, PDP for the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
His defection came as a shock to many given his fierce criticism of the Muhammadu Buhari-led administration.
