American actor, Will Smith has stired up controversy for smacking fellow entertainer, Chris Rock over a G.I Jane joke targeted at his wife, Jada Smith. The act by Will Smith is one that is unprecedented at the Oscars or any award of such international standard.
Most people sided with Will Smith, claiming that he defended the dignity of his wife and family. However, some other people criticised his reaction as one that promotes violence instead of peace. Will Smith has been known to react rather erratically at recent events, which is another call for concern. It is now left to decide weather Will Smith is suffering from a serious condition or this is just a one off. You can watch video of the altercation below:

Will did the right thing. Don't let anyone push their own careers by bringing you down or any member of your family. If he is that good at comedy, he should be able to make people laugh without hurting anyone.
